Applications for convenors of North Western trials are sent to schools in September each year for the running of trials in the previous year. Vacancies are advertised and appointments are made as required.

Convenors are appointed the following 10-12yrs trials:

- Rugby League (11-12yrs)

- Touch Football
- Track and Field

13-19yrs Convenors
Convenors are appointed the following 13-19yrs trials:
- Netball
- Rugby League (14-15yrs)

- Track and Field

Team Officials
All North Western School Sport team officials (coach/manager/trainer) appointments are made in February.
Round 1 applications close in week 3 of term 1. Vacancies are advertised and appointments made as required.
