Teams and trials process
All district team members will be required to register and pay the North Western trial levy online prior to attending the North Western trials.
All students selected in a North Western team will also be required to pay team levies online at the RSS Shop (https://rssshop.education.qld.gov.au/north-west).

Sports on offer within our region
Participation pathways exist for students to trial in most of the 21 sports on offer as part of the Queensland School Sport representative program.
North West Region field teams in sports that the majority of Districts within the region can support.
Trials are held for several sports within the region. You can pay the regional trial levy via our
North Western School Sport online shop.
10–12yrs Trials

Whilst no trial is held for Aquathlon, individual nominations are taken by the sports office to select the NW Team.

Whilst no trial is held for Triathlon, individual nominations are taken by the sports office to select the NW Team.
Where North Western does not have a trial in a specific sport , students are able to attend neighbouring regions trial to provide a pathway for further participation. Individual nomination forms are sent to each school sport co-ordinator for schools to nominate suitably skilled students to attend a trial for a sport that NW does not send a team to the State Championships for.
